BookExpo is the largest annual book fair trade fair in the United States, held at the Javits Center in New York City. This event is for publishers, librarians, booksellers, media, and other reviewers to meet each other, authors, and gather galleys and ARCs of upcoming titles. This year, BookExpo took place from May 30 - June 1.
Follow BookExpo is BookCon, which is an annual fan convention that combines pop culture and the book industry. This year, BookCon took place from June 2 - June 3.
This year, I had the opportunity to attend both BookExpo and BookCon at the beginning of this month. As you may not know, I work at one of the large publishing companies in New York City, so I was required to attend and work a portion of BookExpo. Fortunately enough, my work duties were constricted to half hours here and there, so I was able to walk the floor and attend panels.
Because of my work pass, I was able to also attend BookCon, and my boyfriend came with me. He was extremely excited for the panels, and he also served as my pack mule after collecting all the ARCs.
Without further ado, here are all the books that I got from attending both BookExpo & BookCon.
